… through utilization of rain water for diluting water-based inks and for cleaning glue and ink containers as well as utilization of surplus water ink for opaque printing. Waste water is cleaned before discharging!

Further savings …

… through improved recyclability of window tissue, inks and glue, through double-stacking transports (exhaust emission reduction), through infrared heating and the use of special energy saving bulbs as well as carefully selecting suppliers according to ecology criteria to maximize protection of the environment.

MAILmedia envelopes out of ecologically sustainable forests

Mayer-Kuvert-network’s responsible choices of materials and paper suppliers are now also officially recognized by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council). Through a Product Chain Certificate the organization confirms manufacturing of MAILmedia wallets according to the FSC rules. The paper for these products stems from ecologically sustainable forests, avoiding damaging our environment through uncontrolled widespread felling. From the forests to the final user the wood is processed only in FSC certified facilities. With it’s FSC certification MAILmedia proves that environmentally responsible paper processing is really able to protect our environment.
